Shipping and Delivery Policy

  1. Delivery Information  

    1. General  

      1. This policy outlines information for delivery of products in many different circumstances.  

      2. Special orders, unusual orders, or orders where special delivery requirements are required will be arranged by way of latter communication and are likely to be subject to additional terms and conditions by way of offer and acceptance.  

    2. Free Shipping Over $99  

      1. To qualify, your order must be greater than $99 after any sale discounts or coupons are applied.  

      2. Offer excludes bulky products, Dangerous Goods, Gift Cards & Tyres.  

      3. Bulky items are those with either a high weight or large cubic volume as classified by our courier companies. Freight cost for these items is calculated at checkout.  

      4. This offer only applies to orders placed online for delivery and excludes Click & Collect only items.  

      5. This free shipping offer may be withdrawn or altered at anytime.  

    3. Track & Trace  

      1. All orders placed online at www.jcinstalls.co.nz are delivered via courier. You can track the progress of your order from placement through to delivery by logging into your account on our website or by contacting our online store manager by way of email to webpro@jcinstalls.co.nz.  

      2. Once your order has been packed ready for dispatch you will see a consignment number and link to track your order directly through the courier’s website.  

      3. Please allow up to twenty four (24) hours for your parcel to register in the couriers system before attempting to track your order. If you have any concerns contact our Customer Service Team on the web chat logo on the bottom right hand corner of our website, in the chat function in our app, or by email to webpro@jcinstalls.co.nz. We will generally respond to online enquiries within the same day or if outside of hours within twenty four (24) hours.  

    4. Delivery Fees  

      1. Your delivery cost will vary depending on the size, weight and location of the products you choose to purchase as well as your delivery location of choice. Normally the larger the item, the more expensive delivery will be. Extremely large goods (ie. Items requiring a two man lift) will also incur higher delivery rates.  

      2. Please note:  As we use couriers to deliver all parcels, products cannot be delivered to an unattended address. The courier will require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery, if no one is available to sign for any parcel a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Courier depot. You will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from that depot or paying an additional charge for re-delivery.  

      3. JC Installs Limited recommends all deliveries be shipped to a location that is attended during business hours, whether that is a home, work or other address, to minimize any redelivery delays and/or fees. You may incur additional delivery fees/freight charges within the checkout (in excess of the fees and charges specified above) for:  

        1. Large quantity or bulk orders.  

        2. Express or urgent deliveries; or  

        3. Non-stock and/or bespoke items  

        4. Bulky Items  

      4. At checkout, you will be notified of shipping costs for your approval, these are calculated automatically by the site in accordance with our courier companies' freight charges via a courier aggregation application (supplied by ShipIt). Bulky items are those with either a high weight or large cubic volume. Products are allocated as bulky as determined by the shipping methods of our courier companies.  

      5. Please note if your cart contains non-bulky and bulky items your cart will be calculated accordingly.  

    5. Bulky Deliveries  

      1. Bulky deliveries will be delivered by our transport partners to a safe and easy to access location at the your nominated delivery address. For health & safety reasons in the majority of cases this will exclude delivery of the item inside the home or up flights of stairs. Please have adequate assistance available to you following receipt of your delivery.  

    6. Delivery Expectations  

      1. Delivery Time Frames  

        1. We use a selection of courier services with delivery times of between two (2) to five (5) business days and three (3) to ten (10) business days after dispatch for regional areas. Courier deliveries are made during business hours, Monday to Friday only.  

      2. Special Order Products  

        1. For Special Order products please refer to our Special Order Terms and Conditions which can be found on our website www.jcinstalls.co.nz.  

      3. P.O. Boxes and Authority to Leave (ATL)  

        1. We deliver products to P.O. boxes except for bulky items or dangerous goods. In addition, we also provide an option of Authority to Leave (ATL) on the day of delivery.  

    7. Express Shipping.  

      1. Express shipping is only available in selected metro areas with qualifying products, your order eligibility will be confirmed at checkout.  

      2. Timeframes only apply to business days.  

      3. Offer excludes gift cards, tyres, bulky and dangerous goods.  

      4. Offer is only available for store stocked products only.  

      5. Offer is only available for orders less than 5kg.  

      6. During busy periods, our shipping service providers may experience delays beyond our control.  

      7. The offer is for online orders only and may be withdrawn or altered at any time.  

      8. Free Shipping Eligible Products  

      9. Products that contain the "Free Shipping" tag are eligible for Free Shipping to all locations in New Zealand. If your Cart contains products that aren't eligible, shipping will be calculated for these products only.  

    8. International Shipping  

      1. JC Installs Limited can provide international shipping by special order. Please contact us directly by way of email at webpro@jcinstalls.co.nz to discuss.  

    9. Reasons For Order Delays  

      1. Entry of an incorrect or incomplete address during checkout.  

      2. The address had no-one to sign for the parcel.  

      3. Incorrect payment information was entered against the order. Please double check all details at time of checkout as your order will only be created upon receipt of payment.  

      4. In the event an order is flagged for verification we may need to get in contact via phone before dispatching some orders. Personal details may need to be confirmed for fraud prevention if we are unable to verify the shipping destination to protect the card holder, and this may delay shipping.  

      5. Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we may need to supply product from outside of our standard delivery network. This can cause delays in dispatch if orders are directed to regional locations etc.  

      6. If your order is not received within the quoted delivery period please check your order progress via our Track & Trace portal, alternatively contact our Customer Support Team on web chat or complete our online enquiry form. We will generally respond to online enquiries within twenty four (24) hours.  

    10. Split Delivery  

      1. What does split delivery mean?  If you have ordered multiple items, it may be necessary to source and supply the items from various locations. If this is the case, your order may arrive in multiple parcels at different times by more than one courier company. No additional shipping costs will be charged.
